Carson B. Jackson is passionate about the intersection of entrepreneurship and biochemistry, and aims to create innovative solutions for real-world problems. He is a recent graduate of UNCW, with a degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry.
Carson B. Jackson is the co-founder of DuraVax that is developing a novel formulation for RNA stability, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBC).. Carson is listed as a co-author on a pending patent application, and will have published scientific work soon. In addition, he is the brand manager of The Wang Lab, where he is responsible for building the lab's brand, managing the web and social media presence, and coordinating with an innovative marketer. He has also published a creative nonfiction piece in the Second Story Journal, and holds multiple research certifications from the CITI Program.
Carson B. Jackson has expertise in translational research, creative problem solving, strategic planning, business development, and technical skills including AAV production, mRNA-LNP vaccine synthesis and CRISPR-Cas9 systems.
